What is the app?
The new Birmingham and Solihull Health App provides access to your local NHS services from your mobile device or the web. You can get quick and easy access to your local NHS GP practice along with additional NHS sites within the local Birmingham and Solihull.
The Birmingham and Solihull Health App will bring together and replace all previous local apps (MyHealthcare / Our Health Partnership / Smartcare and Patient Pack) to offer a better and consistent service across the city.
What can the app do?
Book appointments for yourself and manage your family’s accounts whenever it suits you, all in one place. Access appointments at your registered GP practice and at extended access hubs across Birmingham and Solihull.
order your medication
Order your repeat medication at your own convenience and in a couple of clicks. You can also request medication not shown on your medical record.
Access your record
Take control of your health data by viewing and accessing your health data. You can get the latest information such as test results in real-time from your GP without having to call them.
Get quick and easy access to your local NHS GP from anywhere via a video call. See your GP at a convenient time and place without the need to travel to your practice.

Your data is secure and safe
Two-step verification helps protect you by making it more difficult for someone else to sign in to your app account. It uses two different forms of identity: your password, and a contact method (email or SMS). Even if someone else finds your password, they'll be stopped if they don't have access to your additional contact method.

The NHS Birmingham and Solihull Health App has developed a way of securely accessing your GP record in real-time thus preventing the need to move or store your data anywhere else. This means your data is always up-to-date and never moved from the secure NHS database. In addition, it means your health data is never stored on the device or app itself.
CONSENT and privacy
We believe you should control your own data and no one else. That’s why we capture your explicit consent when you use the app to access local NHS services. This ensures you know to whom, why and what elements of your data will be shared to provide you with excellent care. We will never share your data with a third-party unless your have consented to do so.
